We Can Help You Help Us To Help

The most important thing that the Chaplaincy offers is our presence. You can support our presence through your presence and your presents (gifts).

The good people we work with on the streets of Marin seek more than handouts. They, like all of us, are "beggars of the spirit" seeking above all a sense of belonging and community.

People need more than "stuff" but some stuff can help people survive. Because of this,

You can help the Chaplaincy provide:

  • food cards for Safeway supermarkets
  • local bus tickets
  • warm socks
  • sleeping bags
  • tarps
  • raingear

The "stuff" of human person to person relationship is sometimes harder to see, but priceless for our friends outside. Our staff is here to be companions, counselors and spiritual guides. We depend on generous contributions to stay available and accessible to the street community and to keep our doors open and our programs operating.

You can help the Chaplaincy thrive. We welcome your tax-deductible gifts of any amount to keep our organization healthy.

  • Giving helps pay our small and dedicated staff
  • Giving makes you a partner in paying our rent and utilities and office supplies
  • Giving contributes to our art program (framing, printing, publishing, promoting, etc)
  • Giving supports our operating budget

You can help the Chaplaincy get the message out through education.

  • Invite us to your congregation
  • Invite us to your school
  • Invite us to your sacred space
  • Invite us to your business
  • Invite us into your heart

Our presentations with stories, music, and poetry are unforgettable and inspiring.
